KKSongs Khol Guide

(Portuguese translation by Sri David Britto prabhu from Brazil)

Welcome to the KKSongs Khol Guide. Ever since the first mridanga class of Spring 2006 took place, mridanga handouts and recordings associated have not only assisted the class students, but also assisted music enthusiasts and students outside of class. In attempts to keep class materials separate from our kind web visitors, the pages are being redone in order to allow a more suitable presentation.

AUXILLIARY LINKS:

Abhijit’s Khol Course in LA: NOTE: This follows Bengali standards, NOT North Indian standards. While the spirit is very similar, the terminology and presentation is greatly different.

Yaya’s Khol Course in Chicago: This is based off of the KKSongs Khol Curriculum with some extra prakars and useful information.
